Game Recap

The Ayala Bulldogs continue to find their resolve as they overcome Glendora HS to never lose back to back games on league play. Glendora fought another hard physical battle with strong defense that kept Alyssa Gomez in isolation. An X factor presented itself that favored the Ayala Bulldogs in the form of two, normally quiet, teammates Niyah Johnson and Adaku Okori. Niyah locked down the key with tenacious defense described by the coach as, “very reminiscent of the style of play I’d expect from DeAndre Jordan”. Niyah finished the game with 10 blocks and her teammate Adaku Okori complimented with 19 rebounds including 10 offensive boards. Sarah Willis was 3 steals and 4 assists away from a triple double as she sparks momentum on both ends of the court.
